NLP is a practical study of minds

Neuro Linguistic Programming, NLP, has become a widely accepted model of the processes we experience to experience reality. Developed by Richard Bandler and John Grinder during the seventies, NLP was popularized by Tony Robbins during the eighties and is now required learning according to top performers in persuasion, therapy, education, management, marketing and sales.

Here is why it's called Neuro Linguistic Programming:-
Neuro: Reality is processed by our five senses and nervous system into experience.

Linguistic: Our experience is coded, organized and given meaning by language and non-verbal communication systems.

Programming: Discovering, using and changing our behavior, language and non-verbal communication systems to achieve desired outcomes or directions.

NLP is an attitude, a methodology and a technology.
An attitude characterized by a sense of curiosity and adventure and a desire to learn how to find out what kinds of communication influences somebody and the kinds of things worth knowing... to look at life as a rare and unprecedented opportunity to learn.

A methodology based on the overall operating presupposition that all behavior has a structure... and that structure can be modeled, learned, taught, and changed. The way to know what will be useful and effective are the perceptual skills.

An innovative technology enabling the NLP practitioner to organize information and perceptions in ways that allow them to achieve results that were once inconceivable.

Many Fortune 500 companies are using NLP to guarantee that their sales, customer service, trainers, facilitators, and managers will have the edge over their competitors. NLP practitioner training teaches participants all the basic skills of NLP so that they can begin applying them immediately. As they begin to understand how the brain works and the language that drives it, participants find themselves creating new ways of maximizing their effectiveness.

Being able to take effective action in spite of any fear, is a very real power.

Enjoy more by producing feelings of strength and confidence (or any feelings they want) in any situation.

Create positive, pervasive changes in their life and the lives of those close to them.

Begin achieving their goals elegantly and rapidly.

Accomplish what they desire by rapidly acquiring the strategies of those who are already doing it.

Success, for the most part, is controlled by a persons ability to communicate with themselves and with others. NLP describes the structure of that experience and ways in which to use it:

As information that powerfully transforms thought, behavior and language.

As an amazing tool to acquire new behavioral capabilities.

As a way to change perceptions of experiences.

As a way to control unconscious mind.

As "the power tools" in business.

As a persuading capability.

As skill modeling tools.

As rapid learning.

As awareness.

As creativity.

As healing

As fun.
